Responsibilities

Fabrication of production equipment, tools and fixtures, including special purpose machines
Complete associated paperwork, including equipment build records, mark up any changes to drawings and/or schematics
Actively collaborate with key members of product development to communicate issues and make recommendations
Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices
Active involvement with the implementation of LEAN and Kaizen concepts
Must be able to assemble and troubleshoot special purpose machines designed and built within the Advance Technology Department
Must be able to work on own initiative to complete projects on a tight schedule

Required

Previous experience in machining, welding and assembly of tools, fixtures, and special purpose machines
5 or more years of SolidWorks 3D design software and Auto CAD mechanical design/drafting
Skilled at reading and interpret measuring and metering devices
High School Degree or GED Equivalent
Trade School or other training certifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to clearly communicate with engineering, technical support, sales, and management
Thorough understanding of products and equipment used in manufacturing
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
