Responsibilities
Performs EKG procedures (12-Lead/Rhythm Strips/24H Blood Pressure monitors) in all patient care settings and age groups
Responds to codes (Blues/Rescues)
Orders EKGs in the electronic medical record system/downloads all completed EKGs into electronic management system
Attaches to the appropriate order
Uploads for the cardiologist‘s transcription
Qualification
Required
High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper
Basic Life Support
CCI Certified Cardiographic Technician
NHA EKG Technician
Active Basic Life Support Card
Certified EKG Technician from CCI, NHA or equivalent verifiable certification and/or registry
Techs with a job entry date prior to 5/17/2022 may have in-house certification in lieu of CCI, NHA or equivalent
less than 1 Year experience
