Responsibilities
Interpret customer requirements and specifications and revise or design new procedures to ensure compliance
Audit established procedures and quality systems to ensure compliance
Supervise the Quality department personnel and provide guidance and feedback to improve performance
Implement and maintain a Continuous Improvement program
Assist customer and 3rd party auditors and inspectors
Maintain an inspection program to ensure product complies with requirements
Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives and department heads
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as quality manager in an ISO certified company
Detail oriented with good communication, organizational and leadership skills
Proficient in MS Office, Statistics software and databases
Excellent Communication skills
In depth understanding of quality control procedures, inspection practices and audits
Experience in leading Continuous Improvement Process (Teams)
Preferred
College degree in a technical discipline is preferred; however a proven record in a production quality program is acceptable
Some travel and outside work may be required
