Responsibilities
Providing scheduled maintenance and performing minor and major Jenbacher engine overhauls in the field
Qualification
Required
Must have prior mechanical experience such as automotive, power generation, heavy equipment or diesel engines
Perform preventative maintenance (oil change, valve adjustment, lube and check equipment)
Experienced using tools (including diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools)
Ability to read, interpret safety documents, schematics and other mechanical diagrams
Experienced in troubleshooting and repairs of an engine
The ability to work well as part of a team
Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
Ability to travel incl. overnight travel
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and desire to succeed
Must be able to communicate via telephone & email
Preferred
Attended a technical school
Related military experience
Maritime engineering background and/or experience
Experience with reciprocating gas/diesel engines
