CyLogic is looking for a sharp, reliable Data Center Engineer to help us power secure, high-performance infrastructure every day. The role involves diagnosing and solving routine problems, supporting hardware installation, and maintaining the secure operation of Cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and solve routine problems and incidents enhancing first-level and or first contact resolution, or in conjunction with level 2 and level 3 teams

Installation and support of hardware including but not limited to cabling, servers, rack power and racks

Work with senior Data Center staff to create a knowledge base, troubleshooting scripts, and maintain known error documentation

Responsible for the secure operation and maintenance of Cloud infrastructure

Monitor, analyze and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, communications and server performance

Maintain security of the NOC which includes but may not be limited to maintaining key and lock control for all racks and cabinets and escorting non-employees within secure facilities

Respond to user requested submitted through internal ticketing systems

Monitor and manage systems performance and capacity

Monitor and track security compliance

Track and Maintain IT inventory of all assets

Basic software and maintenance skills

Patching Microsoft Windows systems and Windows based applications

Administration of backup system, backups, and backup recovery

Other duties as assigned
