Senior Engineer, Audio-Video Processing & Analytics
Comcast is a Fortune 30 global media and technology company. They are seeking a senior engineer who will serve as a Subject Matter Expert in video encoding/decoding and streaming protocols, focusing on designing solutions to verify audio-video quality.

Responsibilities
Act as the SME for video streaming technologies, encoding/decoding standards, and related protocols
Design and maintain AV quality verification systems for live and on-demand video streams
Maintain and improve algorithms to detect anomalies like pixelation, buffering, blurring, and other visual/audio impairments
Build solutions that correlate video quality metrics with device health indicators (CPU, memory, network stats)
Integrate machine learning models for automated anomaly detection and predictive analytics
Create dashboards and reporting tools for end-to-end AV quality monitoring
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and scalability
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to AV quality and system health
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
7-10 Years of Relevant Work Experience
Experience with real-time AV quality monitoring systems
Knowledge of cloud-based video delivery platforms (AWS Media Services, Azure Media Services)
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of QoE (Quality of Experience) metrics and analytics
