Responsibilities

Service overhead crane systems and hoists by performing quality installations
Perform OSHA equivalent inspections; documenting and completing warranty work; troubleshooting breakdowns
Perform preventive maintenance; and respond to emergency service/breakdown calls
Support customers by effectively interfacing with customers and internal departments in repairing equipment as needed
Perform electrical and /or mechanical adjustments or repairs with or without engineered drawings
Maintain rapport with customers by promptly reviewing and addressing complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; and recommending system improvements
Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklist
Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization in all areas
Develop a working knowledge of Federal, State, and local codes for overhead cranes and hoists
Responsible for company equipment including, company vehicle(s), trailers, tools, etc

Required

2-5 years' troubleshooting cranes and hoist equipment is required
Thorough electrical knowledge of 3-phase motors, VFDs, contactors, and circuits
Overhead crane and scissor lift experience required
Ability to work at height, in extreme temperature and noisy locations. This is a physically demanding job involving standing, walking, sitting and the ability to lift 50-100lbs
Perform inspections to OSHA criteria
Ability to work independently
Capable of dealing directly with the customer and representing self and company in a professional and courteous manner
Communication skills both internally and externally, informing both the company and customers of job status
Quality and results driven while maintaining a safety mindset
Required to use own hand tools and meter
Must have a valid driver's license
Employment is contingent upon successful motor vehicle record, background check, and drug screen

Preferred

Associate's degree with concentration in Industrial Electrician, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or equivalent preferred
