Sr. Test & Validation Engineer

They are seeking a motivated Sr. Test & Validation Engineer to support the Raytheon Forest Consolidated Manufacturing Center, focusing on developing test processes, special test equipment, and data analysis tools. The role requires collaboration with a multi-disciplined team to ensure quality and efficiency in production operations.

Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining Test Procedures
Root cause analysis and resolution of test failures (hardware and test environment)
Maintaining related STE (Special Test Equipment) and specifying replacement equipment when required (obsolescence)
Training technicians to use Test Procedures and providing written directions for troubleshooting instruction
Transforming complex information and data into clear, concise and visually engaging slides
Training entry level Test Engineers on test process
Some travel may be required ( <10%)
Qualification
Required
Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science / Computer Engineering
Experience analyzing test data and / or determining if hardware meets specification
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
DoD Clearance: Secret
Preferred
Preferred major in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Experience with RF systems
Experience diagnosing and isolating technical issues with test equipment and production hardware
Experience interpreting product specifications and requirements
Experience with use of optical fiber in communication systems
Experience with modern Automated Test Systems for electronics
Experience performing analysis of technical data
