Carpenter Technology Corporation is a leader in manufacturing and processing specialty alloys. They are seeking a Summer 2026 Reliability Engineering Intern to assist in process engineering improvements and safety enhancements in the vacuum department.

Responsibilities

Interns will assist in process engineering improvements, safety improvements across the shop, proper documentation of SOPs, JHAs, and SSWPs

Drive improvements across the vacuum department with help and guidance of already in place PE and MSS

Required

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program majoring in Engineering, Business Administration or Management

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Willing and able to work on-site at our Reading, PA location

Applicants MUST be US Citizens or Green Card Holders due to Carpenter's government contracts

Ideal candidates will be driven, self-motivated and excited about working in a team environment

Proficiency in Microsoft applications

Preferred

AutoCAD experience is a plus but is not required
