Sr. Finance Manager
Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company is a leading provider of energetic materials and subsystems for military and commercial applications. The Sr. Finance Manager will lead the financial performance of a $200M+ portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational objectives while providing financial support and mentorship to the finance team.

Responsibilities
Develop and coordinate financial statements and processes including annual budget and monthly close and forecast cycles including adherence to financial controls
Demonstrate bias for action leveraging business acumen and financial data to effectively identify risks and opportunities early and influence improved performance through data driven analysis
Prepare and provide accurate and timely monthly financial reports including detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis of key variances, trends and path to successful forward-looking execution
Manage and track key performance indicators including revenue, cost of sales, indirect expenses, etc. Develop plan and drive countermeasures in partnership with leadership to achieve results
Provide financial support in the development of capital investments, new business opportunities and other projects
Lead and execute with a continuous improvement mindset implementing process improvements to drive operational efficiencies
Effectively communicate financial data to non-finance stakeholders. Provide advice, mentorship, and support on all financial matters to the company leaders
Mentor and develop the site finance team
Qualification
Required
Proven success in leading a highly matrixed and complex financial structure
Experience with P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow management
Demonstrated experience being a change agent, embracing technology solutions for efficiency and accuracy
Build partnerships with business functions, providing timely information through effective communication and fostering trust
Advanced data analytics and Microsoft Excel skills
US Citizenship required due to ITAR Regulations
BS/BA in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA preferred
10+ years financial experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred
Working knowledge of government accounting preferred
Supply chain experience preferred
