Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate and deliver presentations and workshops on recycling and solid waste topics. Alongside your supervisor you will visit schools, youth groups, and community organizations to provide age-appropriate environmental education
Create flyers, graphics, social media and other informative creatives to help educate the community
Attend and represent the County at public events, festivals and sustainability fairs
Foster and develop relationships with local environmental related organizations such as the Port Royal Sound Foundation and the Beaufort Litter Patrol
Under supervision, assist in project management and implementation of sustainability-related projects within Beaufort County government and the community
Performs related work as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be a currently enrolled student in a college-level program
