Responsibilities

Management, supervision and oversight of the assembly and reporting of monthly consolidated system financial statements and statistics

Management of the year end financial statement audit for Baystate Health, Inc. with third-party auditor

Supervision / review of the month-to-month accounting and financial reporting results for Baystate Health, Inc., and Subsidiaries

Oversight of the preparation of the annual Federal and State tax returns for Baystate Health, Inc., and Subsidiaries

Management, supervision and oversight of the assembly and reporting of quarterly and annual statutory filings

Serves as the subject matter expert for new and existing accounting pronouncements and the impact that new guidance has on the consolidated financial statements

Establish and maintain accounting policies to ensure reported financial information is delivered both accurately and timely

Prepares and presents financial statement information to internal and external stakeholders, boards, and committees
