Responsibilities
Lead the development of clinical plans, innovative protocol designs, and statistical analysis plans
Work across therapeutic areas including Oncology, Diabetes, Metabolic Diseases and Neuroscience
Provide statistical leadership and technical direction for clinical programs
Option to manage a team of Project Statisticians, depending on level
Collaborate with team members and communicate study results via regulatory submissions, manuscripts, or presentations
Apply therapeutic area expertise, understand disease states, respond to regulatory queries and interact with regulators
Select statistical methods for data analysis as well as influence business decisions and research methods
Qualification
Required
PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Biostatistics or related field
10+ years of pharma/biotech experience in clinical research and drug development
Strong statistical leadership, study design, technical expertise as well as a track record of innovation
Proficient in statistical programming languages such as SAS or R
Experience with regulatory submissions and statistical methodology
Demonstrated problem solving ability and strong communication skills
