Responsibilities
Competent use of hand, bench, and machine operations to perform deburring, filing, grinding, and polishing on machined parts
Understanding of and ability to utilize a tape measure, squaring tools, electronic level, calipers, and micrometers
Understand tolerances for parts
Ability to understand why machines are not a peak performance and how to increase output
Accuracy with alignment, dimensional, and general inspection requirements. Perform spot inspections of parts
Interpretations of work orders, blueprints, and bills of materials. Complete and maintain paperwork
Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminum, and regular steel)

Qualification
Required
Competent use of hand, bench, and machine operations to perform deburring, filing, grinding, and polishing on machined parts

Experience in a manufacturing setting operations brake/roll press
Prior fabrication experience
Have the ability to read a tape measure
Must possess strong leadership, analytical thinking, effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with persons inside and outside of the company
Must have the ability to perform mathematical calculations related to job requirements
Must be able to work under stress
Must be able to handle multiple priorities
Must be able to process paperwork effectively
Must be able to go up and down stairs
Must be able to communicate effectively
Must be able to do unaccompanied travel
Must be able to tolerate shop environment and exposures associated with welding and industrial equipment manufacturing, and apply appropriate safety equipment when required
Must be able to work overtime as required
Must not present a risk of injury to self or others while engaged in company duties
