Logistics Service Manager (St. Louis)
FTSi.Tech is a staffing agency focused on connecting candidates with career opportunities. They are seeking a Logistics Service Manager to manage and grow customer accounts, conduct pricing negotiations, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth shipment management.
Responsibilities
Manage and grow customer accounts using provided business leads
Conduct spot pricing and carrier negotiations
Deliver cost-effective freight solutions to attract and retain customers
Collaborate with operations and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment management
Support customers with pricing, operational, and payment-related inquiries
Conduct on-site customer visits throughout the greater St. Louis region as necessary
Maintain accurate records and provide reports on account activity
Communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and team members
Qualification
Required
2+ years of sales experience
Existing book of business
Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply-chain operations preferred
Knowledge of business development, sales processes, and customer service
Basic computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, 10-Key, and data entry
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Professional phone and email communication skills
Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions
Preferred
Brokerage operations experience
Transportation Management System (TMS) knowledge
Registry Monitoring Insurance Services (RMIS) experience
Ability to work independently and provide guidance to team members
