Responsibilities
Supervises a staff of 3-12 employees, assigns and reviews work assignments, approves leave, completes performance ratings and provides training
Plan, conduct, publicize and arrange support for events, tournaments and related functions
Operate mowers and trimmers. Inventory and perform minor maintenance on equipment
Supports activities and services of the athletics and Intramural Sport Program
Get fields and courts ready for competition and monitor the competition
Interacts with patrons and provides customer service
Qualification
Required
Work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed
Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions (i.e.- rain, sun, changing temperatures)
Are you willing and able to lift and move items weighing up to 40 pounds?
Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, holidays and split shift
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
A one-year probationary period may be required
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
Preferred
Previous experience with an Intramural or Sports Program, Community Leagues and Tournaments
