Assurance Senior

The Assurance Senior will be responsible for planning and performing assurance engagements, supervising and mentoring staff accountants, and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities
Plan and perform assurance engagements
Supervise, train and mentor staff accountants
Research application of GAAP and other Special Purpose Frameworks
Understand and appropriately apply SSARS and other professional standards
Communicate with managers and partners on the progress of projects
Perform other accounting and consulting duties as needed
Foster constructive relationships with clients and business affiliates
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting; advanced degree preferred
2-4 Years financial statement experience in a public accounting firm
CPA preferred
Knowledge of and ability to apply GAAP and other Special Purpose Frameworks
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of computer software applications
Ability to work collectively with clients, managers, and co-workers
Detail-oriented and organized
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
