The Associate, Technical Designer will support the seasonal design and merchandising process by providing technical design support and ensuring timely delivery of quality goods, while collaborating with cross-functional partners and vendors.

Responsibilities
Work closely with Design to create accurate initial specs and determine proper fit and construction
Conduct fit sessions, making recommendations for fit and construction issues
Collect and advise fit sample comments to vendors
Collaborate with cross-functional partners on style and fit approval process to meet all deadlines. Address issues for resolution with technical designers and fashion designers
Own communication of development and fit information to overseas vendors through written reports, sketches and/or pattern corrections
Make recommendations on how to organize and prioritize workload to meet all deadlines
Adhere to established fit, construction, and safety standards by producing accurate specification packages including sketch details, base size specifications, grading, and construction
Qualification
Required
Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented; highly detail oriented and meticulous
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, balance creativity with technical capability, and interpret design sketches for tech packs
2 - 4 years experience in technical design of apparel in knits and sweaters
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, PLM Adobe products, computers
