Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of accounting strategies that support the company’s financial health and growth goals. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Manage and mentor a growing accounting team. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and collaboration. Provide regular coaching and professional development opportunities

Oversee all aspects of the month-end and year-end close processes. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

Prepare for and support internal and external audits. Ensure accurate tax filings in collaboration with external advisors

Implement and maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, tax laws, and other regulatory requirements. Support annual audits and liaise with external auditors

Identify and lead initiatives to streamline accounting workflows, reduce manual tasks, and improve accuracy and efficiency. Leverage technology and automation tools to modernize financial operations

Work closely with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Provide insights that guide strategic planning and operational decision making
