Responsibilities
Answer inbound customer calls to discuss various loan products, prequalification criteria, and next steps
Communicate loan progress clearly to consumers and collect any required documentation
Make outbound sales calls to prospective and existing customers to generate new business and strengthen retention
Monitor and actively manage a pipeline of leads and loans to meet conversion goals and cycle time targets
Qualification
Required
At least 3 years of mortgage sales experience with a proven track record of performance and client trust
NMLS-licensed mortgage loan originator with hands-on experience in originating a wide range of loan products
Full understanding of FHA, VA, and Conventional mortgage products and their unique benefits to clients
Strong knowledge of consumer lending regulations, including fair lending, privacy, RESPA, and TILA — and a commitment to always doing the right thing
Excellent phone sales skills with the ability to connect, empathize, and guide clients confidently through the loan process
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting deadlines and service expectations
A natural relationship-builder who can collaborate across teams and foster trust with both internal partners and external clients
Demonstrated coachability, adaptability, and a growth mindset — always striving to leave the woodpile higher
