Responsibilities
Identify and record monthly journal entries into the Netsuite accounting system as part of the financial close, while adhering to deadlines
Ensure each account on the trial balance is reconciled and signed off in FloQast; work with internal groups to resolve open issues
Perform monthly flux analysis to explain material movements in account balances and headcount
Document processes and evaluate internal controls for the cash, prepaid, fixed asset, and other general ledger cycles
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as IT and the revenue team, to identify problems, develop creative solutions, and ensure accurate financial records
Proactively identify opportunities for process automation and improvement to ensure processes are scalable and optimized
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience in public accounting or a corporate finance department of a multinational company
Strong Excel skills with advanced functions like VLookup and pivot tables
Experience working on cross-functional teams to implement new systems and create related process documentation
Experience preparing and providing support for SOX and external audits
Demonstrate knowledge of AI tools like Gemini or ChatGPT, with the ability to leverage in key Accounting tasks
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience working in a SaaS company
Proficient in Netsuite, FloQast, Google Suite and AI Platforms
Hold Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials
