Project Coordinator

Responsibilities
Monitor and track permit submissions and renewals
Follow up with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) on permit status and updates
Keep the project team informed about upcoming permit deadlines
Maintain and monitor project timelines to ensure adherence to deadlines
Act as a schedule enforcer, ensuring timely submissions for the Facilities Department
Assist in the preparation of proposals by gathering necessary information and follow defined processes
Oversee project schedules, tracking progress and identifying any potential issues
Prepare letters, reports, meeting packets, and invoice summaries as required
Control and report on project schedules to ensure that deadlines are consistently met
Ensure all project deadlines are met through proactive monitoring and communication
Maintain the integrity of schedules, monitor project progress, and address issues as they arise
Perform other duties as assigned to support project operations
Assist and support project managers with administrative tasks and coordination efforts
Prepare presentations to update senior management on project progress and demonstrate project value, depending on skillset
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the project team
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports as needed
Provide support to the front office in The Woodlands
Availability to work a portion of the week in our Houston office, as needed
Assist with quality assurance and quality control tracking for projects
Prepare agendas for team meetings to facilitate effective communication
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
Previous experience in project coordination or administrative roles, preferably in civil engineering, public works, or construction
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
