The Expeditor I is responsible for driving and tracking all pre-delivery document submittals in accordance with the contract and project schedule, while also improving supplier on-time delivery performance and participating in various project meetings.

Responsibilities

Perform all Expeditor duties in accordance with the Project Expediting Standard Operating Procedure for the project in which assigned with focus on Documents as defined above

Run Expediting calls with suppliers and project team to support assigned packages and Document status

Provides updates to the project team on deliverables according to the contract to support Advanced Work Packaging

Attends weekly project meetings

Performs expediting activities associated with ensuring on-time delivery of equipment/material and documentation

Could be required to embed in fabrication facility or jobsite as required

Travel required up to 25% of time for home office positions

Required

High School Diploma or GED

1-3 years relevant work experience

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc)

Critical thinking skills/problem solving skills to Plan and perform work where only general policies or procedures are available

Experienced communicator with effective verbal and written communication that allows for relationship and rapport building

Ability to work independently with minimal direction

Ability to recognize timelines and deadlines to prioritize work accordingly

Preferred

Associate or bachelor's degree

2-5 years of relevant experience

Expediting experience in large industrial construction project

Experience leading and managing others

Experience/Working knowledge of Oracle

Intermediate to Advance knowledge of working with Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc)
