Responsibilities

Analyze business use cases to understand goals and value drivers
Create conceptual models using Meta Models, Ontologies, and Knowledge Graphs to represent domain structures
Develop logical and physical data models that support KPIs and product requirements
Ensure models meet output needs including SQL endpoints, dashboards, reports, and APIs
Support data cataloging, source-to-target mapping, and data quality rule setup for critical data elements
Optimize cloud databases (e.g., Delta Lake, OneLake) for performance and scalability
Collaborate with governance teams to define global modeling standards and best practices
Work cross-functionally with data engineers, analysts, and other teams to implement and maintain robust data models

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
At least 6 years of experience in data modeling within the property and casualty insurance industry required
Proficiency in SQL, Python, UML, and modern data modeling tools
Hands-on experience with Kimbal Dimensional modeling techniques is required
Strong analytical skills and a track record of building scalable, efficient data models
Experience with Agile methodologies and cloud-based data platforms
Familiarity with data modeling concepts, database technologies, and insurance industry data systems
Ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead cross-functional collaboration
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
