Responsibilities

Support the development and implementation of asset management plans to optimize performance of BIP’s portfolio companies

Collaborate with investor relations to draft communications, providing insights and updates on portfolio company performance that will be shared across the business and limited partners

Onboard investments and monitor portfolio companies in collaboration with the BIP deal team, Finance, Legal & Compliance, and Portfolio Operations

Participate in specific strategic initiatives, refinancing activities, and management evaluations, to enhance value for portfolio companies

Manage portfolio reporting activities, including preparing and presenting materials to Blackstone leadership

Research industry trends, market developments, and macroeconomic factors, assess their impact on portfolio companies and highlight relevant insights for investors

Work on cross-business initiatives to drive value across portfolio

Manage consultants and other third parties during due diligence

Required

3+ years of work experience in financial services, consulting, accounting or other relevant exposure

Proficiency in financial analysis, financial modeling, and performance analysis

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly

Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment while managing multiple projects

Self-starter who can work independently and meet deadlines with minimal oversight

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and responsiveness

A hands-on approach to executing strategy with portfolio companies

Professionalism and credibility to engage effectively with senior board members and portfolio company management

Preferred

Exposure to energy, transportation, real estate, telecommunications, or other asset-intensive businesses is preferred, but not required
