Responsibilities
Process Optimization: Analyze and refine manufacturing processes for enhanced efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma to perpetually elevate our processes
Process Monitoring & Control: Implement systems to monitor KPIs, identifying and correcting deviations for sustainment
Project Management: Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to ensure timely execution of process improvement projects, from planning through to implementation, while adhering to budget, scope, and timeline constraints
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain precise process documentation and provide regular performance reports
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure seamless cooperation across engineering, production, QA, and supply chain teams for process improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent experience
2+ years of relevant experience in process engineering within a manufacturing setting (with degree)
In-depth knowledge of automotive manufacturing process
Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
Skilled in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and related optimization methodologies
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Preferred
Allen Bradley PLC experience preferred
Experience with vision systems
