Responsibilities
Support a variety of energy projects, including oil and gas, fuels, renewables, and power delivery systems such as substations and electrical distribution networks
Create accurate electrical drawings and designs using AutoCAD and CADWorx suite of products, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards
Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to create solutions that meet project objectives, timelines, and budgets
Revise and update designs based on engineering input, client feedback, and field changes, ensuring all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE)
Qualification
Required
5-10 years of experience as an Electrical Designer, with a focus on energy projects such as oil & gas, fuels, power delivery (substations, transmission, and distribution), or renewables
Proficient in AutoCAD, CADWorx, and AutoCAD Electrical for electrical design and drafting
Solid understanding of electrical design principles, including power distribution and electrical systems for energy facilities
Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on efficient and effective design solutions
Ability to work effectively within a team, demonstrate a positive attitude, and contribute to group success
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate designs
Ability and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, ever-evolving industry
