Salesforce DevOps Engineer/Environment Manager
Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry. They are seeking a Salesforce DevOps Engineer / Environment Manager to support the Cloud Service Integration Team, focusing on managing Salesforce environments and driving automation to ensure high-performance deployments for Department of Defense customers.
Responsibilities
Administering and maintaining Salesforce test, production, and sandbox environments, including refresh strategies and configuration alignment
Planning and executing Salesforce release deployments in sync with organizational release cycles, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency
Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Git/Bitbucket and Salesforce DX to streamline build, test, and deployment processes
Monitoring and maintaining the health, performance, and security of Salesforce environments, proactively addressing issues and responding to incidents
Working closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to troubleshoot deployment issues and ensure smooth release cycles
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering and twelve years of work-related experience
Experience in Salesforce DevOps, environment management, or related roles
Proficiency with Salesforce DX, Git/Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipeline development
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, metadata, and deployment strategies
Experience supporting secure cloud environments for government or enterprise clients
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance at the Secret level
Preferred
Experience with DoD Salesforce platforms
Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, DevOps Center, Administrator)
Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Atlassian Suite
Prior experience supporting DoD or federal government clients
Understanding of cloud security principles and FedRAMP compliance
