Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software that meets the needs of our clients
Ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements
Design and develop software solutions that meet business needs and project specifications
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Thoroughly test developed software to ensure reliability, stability, and security
Collaborate with team members through code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues
Stay up to date with industry trends and incorporate new tools and technologies to improve the development process
Actively participate in meetings, provide input, and share knowledge

Required

Working at Maritime Plaza II (Tuesday, Wednesday, and one other day)
An active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor's Degree and six years work experience, or equivalent position related work experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance
Ability to meet the requirements for an IAT II certification as specified in the DoD 8570
Or, have a SECNAV 5239 qualifying degree AND the ability to meet the requirements for an IAT II as specified in the DoD 8570 within 6 months of start date
Hands-on experience programming in Java, C#, ASP.NET, with a strong understanding of OOP principles
Proficient with Apache Struts and Hibernate frameworks
Familiarity with Apache Tomcat application Server
Familiarity with jQuery, Bootstrap, and JavaScript
Hands-on experience working with SOAP and RESTful Webservices
Experience with version control systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Familiarity with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases
Ability to obtain and maintain Common Access Card (CAC) along with badge access to the customer's facility, and to obtain and maintain a SSP network account in good standing on the customer's network
Familiarity with Eclipse and Visual Studio IDE
Ability to interact with and effectively present information to peers, management and customers
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with partners and government officials

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience
Experience working in a hybrid military-civilian military environment
