Responsibilities

Conduct studies, reports, and investigations addressing water, wastewater, and environmental challenges based on client needs
Design water treatment, storage, and distribution systems
Develop wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment systems
Perform hydraulic analyses using computer modeling and hydraulic design software
Prepare permit applications for water and wastewater facilities
Create contract documents for bidding processes
Conduct field inspections and investigations to ensure quality and compliance
Attend client meetings, including regular monthly and special-purpose sessions, to present findings and recommendations
Assist in preparing proposals and presentations to support project opportunities
Collaborate with service group staff and other team members to complete projects effectively
Support quality control efforts and suggest methods to enhance project quality and outcomes

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
2+ years of experience working on projects that include: Water distribution and treatment systems, Wastewater collection, conveyance and treatment systems processes, Hydraulics, Environmental assessments
Team player with strong communication and organizational skills
Effective utilization of common business platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting tools, project management systems, etc
Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary, which may include overnight stays (Valid US Driver's License is required)
Legal authorization to work in the U.S

Preferred

E.I.T. certification
Previous experience with a consulting engineering firm
Intermediate proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Familiarity of computer modeling of water systems and PA DEP regulations
