GNC Engineer I
Relativity Space is building rockets to meet today's needs and advance future breakthroughs. The GNC Engineer I will own GNC algorithms, develop simulation models, and support testing and launch operations, contributing to the performance of the Terran R vehicle.

Responsibilities
Own GNC algorithms from conception through design, analysis, and onboard implementation
Develop 6DoF simulation truth models for GNC analysis and validation
Comprehensively test GNC software from the algorithm unit level to Monte Carlo analysis to fully integrated hardware-in-the-loop systems
Support test and launch operations from pre-flight preparation through post-flight data review and model correlation
Qualification
Required
An undergraduate or graduate degree (BS/MS/PhD) in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field
Technical fundamentals on the Flight Computer side (guidance, navigation, controls) and Truth Model side (dynamics, modeling, simulation)
Ability to work in a fast paced and intense startup environment
Ability to complete projects with ownership of end-to-end solutions with a high degree of independence
Proficiency in the following programming languages: C++ and Python
Preferred
Demonstrated project experience in launch vehicle and/or spacecraft system
Excellent communication skills
Proficiency in the following programming language: Rust
