Responsibilities

Accounting Associate will work closely with Controller and Senior Accountant performing a wide variety of functions
Personal financial accounting for family members
Bank/brokerage account reconciliations
Journal entry postings, recording transactions
Deposit posting, backup accounts payable (coding invoices, resolving discrepancies, printing checks)
Helping prepare Annual Rent Schedules, Gift Schedules, 1099 reporting, internal financial reporting projects
Assume Box.com subject matter expert status for e-signature documentation
Creating templates, workflows and additional projects including updating collection of Certificates of Insurance with downloading capital statements
As an Accounting Associate, you will help with downloading K-1s, spreadsheet input for tax basis tracking
Participate on Sage Intacct conversion

Qualification

Required

2+ years of related accounting experience, preferably from a small-midsized Family Office or accounting firm
Solid Excel and QuickBooks experience with utmost attention to detail
Outstanding communication skills and utmost discretion and integrity
Willingness to work in office most days

Preferred

Experience with Box.com software is a big plus
