Responsibilities

Coordinate ESL services and provide direct instruction to small groups of students

Develop English language proficiency goals that are clear and measurable and track student success in meeting these goals

Assist coordinating and administering state mandated and ML identification assessments

Coordinate redesignation assessments

Monitor EML (Exiting Multilingual Learner) students

Keep ML records in compliance with DESE regulations

Work in collaboration with teachers and share best practices to ensure high quality sheltered content instruction is provided

Required

You've earned a Bachelor's degree and hold a valid Massachusetts ESL teaching license

You know the importance of building a joyful classroom culture where students are held to high behavioral and academic expectations

You are professional, warm, and collaborative with students, families, and colleagues
