Responsibilities
Lead a large team of engineers and oversee scheduling, coordination and technical work
Interpret internal or external business issues and recommend best practices
Solve complex problems and take a broad perspective to identify different solutions
Guide others in solving complex issues in specialized areas based on existing solutions and procedures
Work directly with clients and contractor partners to solve their most challenging problems
Qualification
Required
Licensed and registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of New York and/or New Jersey - or the ability to obtain within six months
Strong organizational and communication skills and leadership abilities
Substantial years of experience managing design for highway or bridge projects, preferably in the New York/New Jersey transportation infrastructure market for NYSDOT or NJDOT
Design-Build management experience on at least three design-build projects
Design experience on projects of > $ 300 M construction cost
