Responsibilities

Working with Cooper’s outside sales team to recommend Cooper and non-OEM parts to address customers’ requirements, especially for legacy Clark, Worthington and Ingersoll-Rand slow speed integral engines

Working alongside Cooper’s technical proposal experts to develop overhaul quotes for these engines

Developing a network of vendors who can provide refurbished parts

Advise on inventory requirements and track part numbers across the various legacy engine models

Qualification

Reciprocating engines knowledgeCommercial proposal developmentSAP proficiencyMicrosoft Office proficiencyCommunication skills

Required

Minimum High School diploma or GED from an accredited school or institution with at least 7 years of experience in sales, engineering or commercial proposal development

Knowledge of reciprocating engines; especially Clark, Worthington and Ingersoll Rand

Good communication skills and high responsiveness

Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

Commitment to safety, customer service quality and to work in team-oriented environment

Preferred

Working knowledge and/or proficiency with SAP would be highly preferred
