Responsibilities
Take ownership of large-scale projects, from expanding our e-commerce offerings to optimizing the performance and resiliency of our complex backend systems that power integrations like Shopify
Be a driving force behind our most critical initiatives
Shape the future of our integration platform
Design and code high-impact, foundational features
Contribute to the team's technical and product strategy
Lead by example, mentoring other engineers and ensuring the work of the team is maximally effective
Qualification
Required
6+ years of full-stack development experience
Strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms
Self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills
Thrives in a collaborative team environment
Proven track record of tackling ambiguous and complex problems
Delivering high-quality solutions with minimal oversight
Critical contributor to design and architecture reviews
Passionate about mentoring peers to elevate the entire team's performance
Professional experience in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React, SQL, and NoSQL databases
Experience with distributed systems, API design/monitoring/best practices
Professional experience building software at scale
Experience with agile processes
A passion for customer experience
