Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and treatment to children, adolescents, and young adults with mood disorders, including clients with comorbid anxiety-related disorders and externalizing disorders
Provide empirically supported treatments such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as mindfulness-based interventions in treatment
Conduct family-based interventions with parents and other family members, including Parent Management Training (PMT), and collateral contacts with educators and other providers
Collaborate with our board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists on cases requiring pharmacotherapy

Required

PhD or PsyD degree from an APA-accredited program in clinical, counseling, school-clinical, or school psychology
Full completion of doctoral degree by the beginning of the postdoctoral fellowship
Successful completion of a pre-doctoral internship
Eligibility to obtain a limited permit to practice psychology in New York State by agreed upon start date
Flexibility to work hours to meet productivity goals and deadlines, including afternoon / evening hours to accommodate school schedules
Team player and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Demonstrated professional attitude and ability to interface with senior management, clinicians and staff
