Responsibilities

Assists with accountability in all aspects of the managed care payer universe

Contract modeling and claims and payer data mining

Payer relationships, reporting and analysis, tracking and trending

Support for facility and physician credentialing to ensure continuity of access to services

Data management, and providing coverage for organization-wide contracting and support for managed care initiatives

Required

Minimum: BA or equivalent experience where 2 years of applicable work experience is equal to one year of education

Minimum: Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Strong reading comprehension and writing skills. Experience creating and editing Word and Adobe (PDF) documents and database management. Basic understanding of budgeting and financial principles

Minimum: Five (5) years of experience in contracting, finance, legal, or position requiring analytical thinking. Bachelor's degree may be substituted for work experience

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred: Ability to work with budgets and intermediate understanding of financial modeling, legal and contracting principles

Preferred: Two (2) years of experience in healthcare or contracting related field
