Responsibilities
Represent clients in land use and zoning matters before local and state agencies
Advise developers, property owners, and institutional clients on zoning compliance, permitting strategies, and entitlement processes
Draft and review development agreements, easements, and other real estate-related documents
Conduct legal research and analysis related to land use regulations, municipal codes, and environmental laws
Collaborate with partners and clients to develop case strategies and client communications
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting land use and zoning
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the Maryland Bar (additional Bar Admissions a plus)
At least 1 year of relevant experience in real estate transactions and/or land use and zoning
Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
