Senior Financial Analyst
Sotheby's is the world’s premier destination for art and luxury, promoting access to exceptional art and luxury objects. The Senior Financial Analyst will ensure accurate accounting of global fixed assets, prepare timely reporting for decision making, and act as a key contact for audits.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the preparation of monthly results, variance analysis and commentary in accordance with the agreed corporate timetable for senior management review
Ensure clear process in place for creation of new fixed assets, disposals and useful life reviews
Maintain Lease Query with latest global lease information, complying with IFRS 16
Responsible for maintaining and preparing accurate balance sheet reconciliations
Adhere to company policies and internal controls
Support all audit requests pertaining to fixed assets or leases
Provide ad-hoc analysis as required to support business and finance initiatives
Develop relevant dashboards to improve reporting
Support implementation of ad hoc projects and processes, for example setting up new entities
Qualification
Required
Fully Qualified Accountant with CPA / ACCA / CIMA
Audit experience preferred
Experience of Lease Query and SAP beneficial
Educated to degree level
Excellent communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships both within finance and with stakeholders at all levels
Creative problem-solving ability
Excellent computer skills including Excel
Some knowledge of Sotheby's or the art industry, its culture, and services beneficial
