Responsibilities
Develop and execute the global professional services engineering strategy aligned with Belden’s business objectives
Lead, mentor, and scale a team of engineering professionals and project managers across regions
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration
Oversee the planning, design, and execution of customer-specific projects including assessments, installations, migrations, and optimization services
Ensure technical deliverables meet quality standards, scope, and budget expectations
Develop standardized processes, methodologies, and tools for efficient service delivery
Act as a strategic partner to customers, ensuring alignment of solutions with customer goals
Collaborate with Sales and Product Management to identify new service opportunities and support pre-sales activities
Lead initiatives to expand Belden’s portfolio of professional services offerings
Manage budgets, resource allocation, and KPIs for global service engineering operations
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, risk mitigation, and industry regulations
Track, analyze, and report on project and service performance metrics
Interface with Engineering, Product Development, Marketing, and Sales to drive service integration and customer value
Support internal teams with training, knowledge transfer, and technical enablement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
10+ years of experience in professional services, systems integration, or engineering consulting, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role
Proven ability to lead distributed technical teams across global geographies
Strong understanding of industrial automation, OT/IT networking, and cybersecurity principles
Track record of driving services innovation and scaling delivery models
Preferred
Experience in industrial verticals (e.g., manufacturing, energy, transportation)
Familiarity with Belden's product and solution portfolio
PMP, ITIL, or equivalent certifications a plus
