Responsibilities

Collaborate with leading experts in quantum information and AMO physics to explore, model, and test new approaches for using neutral atoms in quantum simulation and computation
Develop hardware efficient approaches for the quantum simulation of strongly correlated fermionic problems with physical and logical qubits
Work on quantum dynamics of strongly correlated systems
Develop scalable resource estimation tools for complex quantum workloads such as cryptanalysis

Qualification

Required

Solid background in quantum computing and quantum information processing
Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for cross-disciplinary collaboration

Preferred

Currently enrolled in or have completed a Ph.D. program in Physics, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong programming skills and experience with quantum circuit simulation SDKs (e.g., cirq or Qiskit)
Experience with resource estimation frameworks (e.g., Qualtran)
Familiarity with neutral atom quantum computing hardware
