Responsibilities
Responsible for month-end financial reporting and accounting tasks, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations with an emphasis in lease accounting
Maintain documentation of accounting processes/procedures and related internal control framework
Support other departments to reach organization goals and deadlines
Ad hoc projects to assist with other internal projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
2-4 years of relevant accounting experience
Ability to self-motivate, detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Possesses fundamental accounting knowledge
Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and process improvement skills
Strong communication skills, must be able to work and communicate with different departments across the company
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP's for a large volume of data
Preferred
CPA or pursuing CPA designation
Internal control and SOX knowledge
Public accounting experience
Experience in multi-legal entity environment
Proficiency in Large ERP environment, Viewpoint software a plus
Knowledge of ASC 842 accounting concepts and familiarity with lease contracts strongly preferred
