Manufacturing Equipment Engineer-TX
CelLink is a company that provides electrical systems for electric vehicles and is seeking an Equipment Engineer. The role involves improving automated production equipment and collaborating with maintenance and operations staff to enhance preventative maintenance programs.

Responsibilities
Systematically apply knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and software components to identify and solve problems
Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for all production equipment
Work closely with Equipment Engineers, Process Engineers and Operators to meet equipment requirements and make improvements to existing systems
Work hands-on with roll-to-roll web handling and processing equipment, including rollers, drives, edge guides, brakes, and steering mechanisms
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering desired
2+ years of hands-on experience as an Equipment Design Engineer, Mechanical/Electrical Engineer or similar experience desired
Independent problem solver with a desire to learn new skills and develop new technology
Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented mind set
Able to adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced start-up setting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Ability to use hand and machine tools safely
Preferred
Experience with design, assembly and/or maintenance of automated manufacturing equipment strongly preferred
Solid background in using 3D computer aided design software
Experience using PLC, and device configuration software
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
Experience developing discrete simulation models
Experience with extracting and analyzing manufacturing data
Experience with assembly and/or maintenance of roll-to-roll manufacturing equipment
