The role involves performing structural engineering calculations, preparing construction drawings, managing projects, and coordinating with other engineering disciplines to ensure successful project completion.

Responsibilities
Follow Building Practice production and design standards and procedures as delegated by the Project Manager
Perform and check structural engineering calculations using company, client, and industry standards
Participate in the preparation and checking of structural construction drawings created by teammates to meet firm and client requirements
Develop and check cost estimates
Participate in the preparation of reports and studies
Assist in the management of projects
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines within the firm to assure successful completion of projects
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience
Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois, Missouri, or Arkansas
Experience with structural design and detailing of water or wastewater plant structures or similar structures
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or Microstation
Knowledge of Structural Design Software
Ability to traverse structural sites, including heights and rough terrain
Must possess a valid driver's license
Must complete a background check
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Preferred
Licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois
Master of Science in Civil Engineering
