Responsibilities
Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and support the management of monthly financial cost center tracking files
Analyze variances between actual results, prior year, and budget/forecast, and prepare monthly financial reports for leadership
Assist in preparing and importing data for annual budgets, quarterly forecasts & landings, and long-range financial planning with insights into senior leadership on financial performance and trends
Support the approval process for contracts, purchase requisitions, and position requests, ensuring compliance and proper documentation
Collaborate with various teams to provide data-driven insights and support business decision-making
Prepare data for ad-hoc reporting and participate in meetings with senior leadership to discuss financial results and business performance
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or closely related field from accredited college or university
3-5+ years of experience including accounting, financial analysis, or financial planning/budgeting
Demonstrated working knowledge of US GAAP
Highly proficient with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated knowledge of accounting and financial reporting software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present effectively to audiences at all levels of an organization
Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and strategic thinking
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines
Initiative-taker can work independently and take initiative in challenging situations
Preferred
CPA or MBA
Pharmaceutical industry related experience
OneStream Software experience a plus
