Responsibilities
Be the first point of contact for customers navigating the City’s permitting process
Provide clear, accurate information on City codes, zoning, and development standards
Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of one-year experience as a permit technician, planning, building, public works, construction customer service, and/or municipal land development
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products required
ICC certification as Permit Technician or obtain within the probationary period
Preferred
Associate's Degree preferred
Previous experience in local government preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
