Orveon Global is a new kind of beauty company that has acquired iconic brands like bareMinerals and BUXOM. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure an accurate month-end close process and drive operational efficiencies while supporting various departments within the organization.

Responsibilities

Support the accounting and finance teams across multiple US and international subsidiaries

Create, analyze, and post journal entries and complete various month-end close related activities including but not limited to leasing, intercompany accounts, debt, and financial statement reporting

Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP

Assist in the compilation of supporting documents and variance explanations for external auditors; Actively participate in the annual external audit

Identify areas of opportunity/weakness within business processes and recommend solutions for achieving optimal efficiency

Build relationships with and support business partners across the organization to become a trusted advisor and help drive sound financial decisions

Involvement in ad-hoc projects across the organization

Stay abreast to changes in regulatory framework and accounting principles
