Inside Sales Director
Porter Pipe & Supply is seeking an Inside Sales Director to lead their Inside Sales team in Addison, IL. The role involves establishing the inside sales function as a strategic driver of business growth while managing day-to-day operations and fostering customer and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities
Establish the inside sales function as a strategic driver of business growth
Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies in partnership with leadership and vendors
Drive CRM adoption and ensure accurate reporting, forecasting, and actionable insights
Define and monitor performance expectations and KPIs to align with company goals
Lead, mentor, and coach the inside sales team, fostering accountability and cultural alignment
Analyze data to drive business decisions, improve forecasting, and identify risks with mitigation plans
Strengthen vendor and customer relationships, representing Porter Pipe at key industry and networking events
Oversee team training, proposal development, and high-performance activities
Partner with outside sales and purchasing to maximize profitability and win key accounts
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 5 years of B2B sales leadership
Minimum 5 years of experience in the commercial PVF industry
Executive-level communication, coaching, and mentoring skills
Strategic leadership experience with a proven track record of driving sales growth
Data-driven mindset with excellent analytical and mathematical skills
Ability to build and strengthen high-value customer and vendor relationships
Proficiency with CRM systems, business intelligence tools, and Microsoft Office
