Responsibilities
Manage the titling process for all vehicle sales, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all paperwork
Research and verify ownership and lienholder information to ensure proper documentation
Prepare and submit all necessary documents
Communicate effectively with customers, banks, lienholders, and regulatory agencies to resolve any title-related issues or inquiries
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all title transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
Coordinate with the sales and finance departments to ensure smooth and efficient title transfers for vehicle sales
Stay up-to-date with current laws, regulations, and industry practices related to automotive titles
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certification in automotive or administrative fields is a plus)
Proven experience as an Automotive Title Clerk or in a similar role within the automotive industry
In-depth knowledge of automotive title processes and state-specific requirements
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Proficient computer skills and experience working with automotive title software and systems
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve title-related issues
Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and a customer-centric approach
